It is hard to believe that two bearded men in matching checked shirts could produce such a collection. The saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” could not be any more true. Robert Costello and Jeffery Tagliapietra’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection was feminine and pretty. They offered chrysanthemum prints and an array of frocks in pretty and feminine colours. The materials are very ladylike and the way the dresses and gowns hug the models hips is simply beautiful. There is seductiveness, but in a mature and non-trashy way.
